Finding Balance: A Journey Back to Writing & Connection

It’s been a while since I last posted—sorry for my absence. The reason lies within me—the part of myself I set out to express through writing.

A few months ago, I started a website and joined X to rekindle an old passion for writing. And honestly, it’s been a meaningful journey. I’ve connected with amazing people, learned new skills—like navigating X, building a website, exploring AI tools for photos and videos, and even discovering practices like grounding.

On paper, it sounds fantastic. But gradually, I felt things piling up, and I began to lose touch with myself. It became clear: I couldn’t balance being a friend to the algorithms while consistently posting original content and staying engaged with the wonderful people I’d met.

At this stage of life, so many other priorities rightfully demand my attention—my kids, a newfound passion for motorcycles, work, friendships, my wife, and even the political upheavals in my country. Balancing it all felt overwhelming.

Eventually, I hit a point where I couldn’t keep up the perfect pace—not on X, not anywhere else. Stepping back was necessary, even though I felt guilty about leaving connections hanging.

Now, after some time off, I think I’ve found my sweet spot. I’m no longer aiming to churn out two posts a day or keep up with the algorithms. Instead, I’m choosing to write from the heart and spend the rest of my time connecting—without pressure, just joyfully.

I’m not chasing an accelerated path anymore; I’m taking small, deliberate steps, mindful not to lose myself in the noise.

To everyone who’s stayed connected during my absence—thank you. I look forward to catching up and continuing this journey with you, one step at a time.
